 Itinerary

The proposed world-circling flight of N982GA has been carefully researched by Pat Gallagher through extensive use of the World Wide Web so that flight and weather conditions could be optimized during the three-month long endeavor. Using spread sheet analysis, factoring in weather patterns and high/low temperature figures, it became apparent to Pat that the departure date should be in either spring or fall. Final considerations led to the departure date of October 3 with expected completion on December 29.

A high-priority goal of the trip was to allow enough time at the various stops to completely enjoy the setting as well as to acclimate to the new time zone. This trip is not meant to be any sort of "race" around the globe, but rather is designed for a relaxing, meaningful, learning experience. Time has been factored in for golf at some of the stops, one of Pat's and Ashley's favorite pastimes, Tom's too! (Pam? She can take it or leave it!)
